The Club With No Books

The name is sort of a misnomer- of course there are books. There is usually more than one book! This book club meets and discusses themes common to a collection of books chosen in advance. I know that many people want the chance to discuss literature and literary themes, but just don't have the time to commit to one more book. So how will you have time to read more than one?

YOU DON'T. The Club With No Books doesn't require participants to have read the texts before hand. Excepts and book summaries are provided. We have a lively discussion connecting real life experiences to the theme of the month.

Bookish Angst Online Discussion

In conjunction with my good friend Jessica over at Angst and Alliteration, "Bookish Angst" is an online bookclub celebrating social change through dialogue. Books can be of any genre, and are usually under 300 pages. Although chosen by me or Jessica, suggestions are always welcomed (usually by polling). Book discussions run the last full week of the month on Facebook.

Social media hashtags include #bookishangst #bookishangstbookclub #joinabookclub
