BRING SOME SNACKS AND JOIN US ON THE LAWN

The "club with no books" book club is a chance to discuss themes common to literature without the stress of meeting a reading deadline. Maybe you want to join in on the discussion, but you don't have time read the book. Maybe you have already read the book and want to revisit it without a full rereading. Whatever the case, you are welcomed!

For the month of May, we'll be discussing the topic of FLAWED FEMINISM through the lens of the following titles:

We Should All Be Feminist by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Sister Citizen by Melissa V. Harris-Perry

Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay

Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

Remember, you don't have to read the books to participate. I will give an overview to each book and facilitate the discussion so everyone feels welcomed. Additional titles are always welcomed. Bring a friend!

*Note* This meetup is OUTSIDE and in a shaded grassy area. It is suggested you bring a blanket or lawn chair, and food/beverage.
